Hello all,
I'm big fan of DANIELE PATUCCHI!!!!!
One of the best among italian composers! Refined, unfortunately underrated and almost forgotten...
I have CD's "LOS AMIGOS" & "La Piu Allegra Storia Del Decamerone"!!
For some reason - his music released not so much. But so many his EXCELLENT works only on LP existed or on the compilation...
and damn the expense! I would buy all his CD if they will be released!
So, that's what i'd like to tell , i have read these topics:

Not much of peoples here would like to release PATUCCHI.... Shame.
if ORTOLANI unreleased a number of good soundtracks, at least many others anyway RELEASED on CD, some compilations, many...
But PATUCCHI, no one compilaton, nothing on CD.
I have only Japanese compilations - including 2 tracks from "Dolce e selvaggio" & another compilation - including full original Main Titles (without Edda Dell'Orso) of "Il Sesso Della Strega"...

I have listened a lot of DANIELE PATUCCHI rare LP's...
LP's very hard to find, even buy on eBay or somewhere else.
No one of Patucchi i've listened so far - no one of those albums disappointed me.
Except : Los Amigos & La Piu Allegra Storia Del Decamerone , i have listened the following:

I knew this composer 3 years ago maybe, and loved him immediately after Cara Sposa, then i watched many others films with his music and DISCOVERED MANY INTERESTING THINGS. :o :o :o :o

GREAT SCORE ONCE AGAIN!!!!!
MAIN TITLES is really cool, bass, action jazzy track...
But i think Main Theme is in fact was reused by Patucchi, as i wrote before many times excellent beautiful track "Peppermint Rainbow" - which also sounds, plus has few variations - as vocal song disco version on discotheque..
I think Daniele Patucchi - transformed this theme (maybe library) for this movie and played, arranged in various arrangements...
Disco version, and others... and finally - END TITLES - is a variation of this theme too with some harmonica... just like the END TITLES in PANE E CIOCCOLATA - also some beautiful theme with Harmonica sounds...
I've enjoyed this giallo because of this great score by Daniele Patucchi.
CAM should release, MUST HAVE!

This track released on old LP's.
Reused in "...E Tanta Paura" (1976) - excellent theme, with trumpet, saxophone.... AMAZING.

Watched again E TANTA PAURA.
Analyzed all the music.
MAIN TITLES - great bass jazzy theme, drums presented, awesome piece.
But MAIN THEME of the movie is actually the theme:"Peppermint Rainbow"
You know, this theme written long before this movie (1976) - about 1973, because as BACKGROUND MUSIC reused in SANS SOMMATION (1973) - FRENCH SPY THRILLER.
Why this theme used for E TANTA PAURA? I don't know...
in E TANTA PAURA, Patucchi modified this theme in different variations:
- harmonica version (as END TITLES)
- rock/ disco - song (in English) version
and more alternate versions.....
Also ADESSO e' TUTTO QUI - reused once as background music...
There is more music, mostly SUSPENCE THEMES....
I would like to hear if someday CAM release this OST.

Il mio amico Massi70 mi ha consigliato di vedere un vecchio film 'Le Ultime Ore Di Una Vergine', a lui è piaciuto molto il tema principale (ripreso più volte durante il film, versione con tromba, etc...)
Quando l'ho visto ho ricordato di aver già ascoltato questo tema principale sull'album TEMI CONDUTTORI SENTIMENTALI...(di Daniele Patucchi) come prima traccia - TEMA PER SYDNE...
E' davvero un ottimo score

Few days ago have got some rare CAM LP with amazing track called TELA DI RAGNO - amazing suspence jazzy track with violin and guitar.....!!!!!

Grazie Daniele, Claudio, Fabio e altri! Certamente a Maestro UMBERTO LENZI per un film!
Great numerous variations of main theme, i enjoyed more some Latin, Cuban themes a-la QUEIMADA (Morricone)!
And Track 15 is longer version of track "LA MADRE" (reused in SANS SOMMATION) - longer version of Brani Drammatici, Violenti e Suspence (CAM CML 028) [LP] version

I do understand one thing now about old Patucchi score for SANS SOMMATION French action.
It seems Daniele wrote only 1-2 themes, at leas Main Theme released on LP.
But all the others tracks at this movie - just reused music, actually written for earlier PAtucchi OSTs... from Il Paese Del Sesso (2 suspense tracks) - which is track 15 now on a new CD. Also other few tracks released on library LPs. I think i don't wait now official complete ost for Sans Sommation, because there is nothing more than 1 original theme, which released on LP....
I was very upset or rather satisfied.... No need to wait something exsclusive now..... Maybe only some cool compilation of the best Patucchi ... :D
