Reading your words, it seems you have enjoyed a unique experience. In our culture, but also in European culture, Dante\'s Divina Commedia has a very strong appeal... A lot of literature and from a wider point of view, a lot of arts have been inspired by the Commedia. The Commedia itself is a great melting pot of different instances and is a real masterpiece of Italian medieval literature...

Anyway, I\'m really amazed by your report and I\'m wondering if I will ever have the chance to enjoy Frisina\'s Divina Commedia too...!

For what concerns Peplum score writing, I think Maestro Frisina is such a great composer he surely has the necessary skill to understand the epc atmosphere of that genre and the sinphonic attitude to interpret it correctly!

It seems the Maestro is going to perform a bis!

Following the w-o-n-d-e-r-f-u-l CD CINEMA A MANO ARMATA in which the Maestro conducted his Big Bubbling Band in a triumph of brass, funk and percussions playing again all of his most famous OST, Franco Micalizzi is working at his second CD, probaly named CINEMA KULT \'70

I\'m asking him... every day the tracklist! Since now I just understood that it will feature tracks taken from:

CHI SEI? (BEHIND THE DOOR)
HOLD UP ISTANTANEA DI UNA RAPINA
IL GIUSTIZIERE SFIDA LA CITTA\'
SUPERUOMINI SUPERDONNE SUPERBOTTE
LO CHIAMAVANO TRINITA\'

and other movies...

The greatest thing is that some tracks will have some important "featuring"... a new version of Detecting the boss (ITALIA A MANO ARMATA) rapped by TURI (anybody has seen the DVD of the "Originali" or the concert the Maestro did in Milan?) and some singed version of other important songs...

Apart from the fact that I was stolen the first CD CINEMA A MANO ARMATA from my car twice... I\'ve got to take again the first and can\'t wait to have this second one...!

Dopo lo s-p-l-e-n-d-i-d-o CD CINEMA A MANO ARMATA dove il Maestro conduceva la Big Bubbling Band in un trionfo di fiati, funk e percussioni rivisitando tutte le sue + grandi OST, Franco Micalizzi sta lavorando al secondo CD che, probabilmente, si chiamerà CINEMA KULT \'70...

Lo sto ammorbando per chiedergli la tracklist... per ora non si è sbottonato molto ma mi sembra di aver capito che ci saranno tracce tratte da:

La cosa bella è che ci saranno dei featuring da paura... tipo una versione di Detecting the boss (ITALIA A MANO ARMATA) con il rapper TURI (vi dice qualcosa lo show e relativo DVD degli "Originali"?) e delle versioni cantate di altre OST con delle sorprese...

A parte che il primo CD di CINEMA A MANO ARMATA me l\'hanno "rubato" ben due volte dalla macchina... e quindi devo riprendere anche quello, comunque non vedo l\'ora di avere tra le mani, anzi tra i timpani questa nuova performance della Big Bubbling Band!

Sto aspettando alcune nuove uscite per farvi un ordine cumulativo, Thunder sarà mio!!

De Masi è uno (se non IL) dei mei preferiti... poi in Thunder c\'è una bella armonica a bocca suonata dal "babbo" he he!

I didn\'t see both movie (ouch!).

I think that if the sound of the typewriter is clearly evidenced in the screenplay the solution of Maestro Marianelli surely is something deeply bound with the movie itself. It could be just a casual ispiration... Anyway, if the new Oscar award was aware of M° Nascimbene "trick", I would say he did a tribute to him, one that was detectable just by great cinema experts!

So my congratulations for finding the parallelism... anyway, I\'ll write more impressions as soon as I\'ll see both movies!

Ieri per caso ho visto per la prima volta il film l\'Anticristo con una bravissima Carla Gravina a interpretare la posseduta
dal demonio. A contribuire all\'orrore ci pensasi la musica di Morricone.
Esistono in maniera occulta nei vostri archivi altri brani oltre ai due già stampati?

Dunque, abbiamo inserito una traccia inedita de L\'ANTICRISTO in CINECOCKTAIL 4 THE ITALIAN HORROR SHOW.

Quando abbiamo selezionato le musiche per la suddetta compilation, mi sembra che questa traccia inedita fosse stata scelta da una serie di tracce... inedite (scusa le ripetizioni) che erano già state lavorate dai nastri...

Per farl breve, sì, c\'è dell\'altro materiale oltre ai 2 famosi brani stampati tanti anni or sono in quel CD...!

Per quanto mi riguarda non ho presente il film di cui parla Joan, e (...) purtroppo non ho ancora avuto la possibilità di vedere Espiazione, anzi, sarà proprio il caso che vada al più presto al cinema...!

Detto questo, sono sicuro che l\'atto di mixare un rumore (on o off) sulla colonna sonora sia una cosa che denoti un maggior coinvolgimento dell\'opera del musicista in quella filmica... Si è ispirato a quanto ideato prima dal M° Nascimbene? Molto probabilmente il Maestro Marianelli avrà compiuto una citazione d\'autore...

Se il rumore è presente nel film ed è ben evidenziato in sceneggiatura la scelta del neo premio oscar mi sembra una bella scelta stilistica... e non è detto che sia ispirata alla partitura del predecessore.

Ora mi sono troppo incuriosito e voglio andare al + presto al cinema

For both releases we\'ll feature interesting news... ( :? )

Maybe some multimedia and/or liner notes edited by somebody that took part to these movies...
