Il giudice e il suo boia
« on: May 05, 2010, 01:48:44 pm »
My congratulations to Beat for the first time issue of this soundtrack.  What a nice surprise!  ;D Even more surprising there were no advance rumours (not a whisper) that it was about to be released. Not until it appeared on the Beat website and the Intermezzo media website.

Do we assume from this that the music rights are not owned by Beat but have been licensed from another label?

Whatever the answer, well done. :D

Hi there,

the rights for this score belongs to Pentaflowers label, that belongs to BEAT RECORDS COMPANY PUBLISHING GROUP and to Carosello.

We usually announce products 1 month before the official release :)

Thank you Cuchillo and, have a nice week!!

Already 3 days i enjoy this score...

And i have to say about something... maybe it's trifle...

The track # 28 on CD - is the other variation of 'Affresco con bambino' (# 18) and it's not one of variations of the others 'Meditazione melodica', it's only 'Affresco con bambino' - Version # 2.
I'm surprised why it's called 'Meditazione melodica' too on the CD, it's must be error.
In the movie, this track used only once, when Anna argued with Gatsmann...before shutting him down.Like in Lowephato's bootleg "Anna & gatsmann"

Morricone re-used the organ melody of the Bachian fugue (track 8 ) in the cue "Incontri a sei" from L'Umanoide" (1979)

Track 13 is not one of variations of 'Meditazione melodica' too, it's another original track.

That's IT!

Thanks for this wonderful release.

Indeed you are right...

It was erroneously named with a wrong name but we aknowledged the mistake when the CD was already pressed :(
