The fifth release in the series dedicated to Western scores composed by Francesco de Masi features the soundtrack for Una bara per lo sceriffo (1965, A COFFIN FOR THE SHERIFF), directed by Mario Cajano in 1965 and starring Anthony Steffen, Edurardo Fajardo, Fulvia Franco and George Rigaud. The music was inspired more by the classic American composers rather than the Italian style that was born in that period. Full of beautiful themes and expansive atmospheres, the entire score was conducted by Maestro de Masi and performed by a full orchestra which included many great musicians who worked on hundreds of wonderful Italian scores over the years.
The CD is presented in a jewel case with an 8-page booklet featuring original artwork from the film and liner notes (in Italian and English) by Filippo de Masi.
