Film's Storyline:
School is finished and it’s time for vacation. A group of youths gather around a swimming pool. They receive a phone call from a friend, telling them that they have been promoted (in one of the initial scenes we see Enrico Beruschi as a communist school-caretaker who has to tolerate the comments of a teacher concerning easy promotions). One of the students is Claudia (Gloria Guida) and she is very enthusiastic about a possible trip to England for summer vacation. She goes to her father, Colonel Oresete Raselli (Jacques Dufilho) in order to obtain his authorization to leave. Luisa (Susan Scott), the second wife of Colonel Raselli, knows that he will leave the city (taking her with him) for the period during which his daughter will be in England. Luisa does not want to leave, in that the move will interfere with her ability to attend to her extramarital lover. She convinces her husband that London is dangerous, and is a capital of vice and drug addiction, and after some nightmares the Colonel ultimately denies Claudia the right to enjoy her vacation. The young Claudia, convinced that her unfaithful stepmother is behind her father unexpectedly prohibiting the London vacation, forces a heated discussion with Luisa, after which Luisa faints. A neighbour of the Raselli family is one Doctor Filippo Cinti (Pino Colizzi), and he comes immediately to help Luisa. The young Claudia is charmed by the man and tries to make him fall in love with her. For the Doctor’s benefit she performs a strip tease behind an open window, and later feigns an accident with her motorbike in order to acquire his attentions. The Doctor seems to be immune to her temptations, and out of feelings of feminine frustration Claudia now wants revenge. She sneaks into the Doctor’s house, and reading a love letter finds evidence that it is, in fact, Doctor Cinti who is her stepmother’s lover. She decides to follow Luisa and to take candid photographs of her forbidden meeting with the Doctor, during which her stepmother and Cinti engage in some very strange sexual acts.Following this, Claudia provides the Doctor with copies of the incriminating photographs. Using the pictures as leverage for extortion, she demands that he now satisfy her own strange requests, such as to appear before her dressed in Indian-style attire, and to give a lecture at the local University while being nearly naked!Still not satisfied, Claudia asks Luisa to arrange a meeting with the Doctor during which he will have to prove his masculinity. Luisa agrees because Claudia promises to then turn over all the damaging photographic material. During the meeting Claudia finally manages to make the Doctor go crazy for her, partially thanks to a very sexy slip, and he begins to shout that he wants to make love to her - so loudly that Luisa becomes enraged.Claudia, who feels she has finally succeeded in her quest to make the Doctor desire her, gives him the photographs and leaves. However, Doctor Cinti now becomes obsessed with Claudia, and completely forgets Luisa. He even goes so far as to ask the Colonel for the hand of his daughter. Claudia informs her stepmother that she will refuse the Doctor’s request of marriage, but only if Luisa confesses her infidelities to her husband, Colonel Raselli. Luisa refuses to confess. On the day of the wedding Claudia arranges that the officiating priest (Augusto Bonardi) receive an anonymous letter, in which it is explained that Doctor Cinti has been the secret lover of the bride-to-be’s stepmother! The good clergyman, in order to avoid a scandalous marriage, tries without success to make somebody confess, but it is only until moments before the wedding is completed that Luisa finally breaks down and publicly confesses her relationship with the Doctor. The Colonel’s wrath compels him to nearly kill the would-be husband of his beloved daughter (and his wife’s illicit lover), and the movie ends with Claudia finally succeeding in joining her friends in England!
