How is it possible to describe in words the sensation evoked by music? This has been a much discussed question and there was a time when the very "meaning" of music itself was the subject of serious debate; undoubtedly the emotions it is able to give the listener is what really counts, and listening to the flow of the notes created (the most appropriate term) by the five musicians who took part in the realisation of "Brecce" is something which, even though beyond words, moves the listener deeply and reconfirms (should this be necessary) their sincerity for the music they passionately believe in.
The well-established Abbate-Nicola-Fontana trio, which has been appreciated on the scene for years for its originality, has added the superfine class of Albano (listen carefully to his soprano) and Luigi Tessarollo (guest on "Miramar"); it is a testimony of the superb state of grace of Italian Jazz which Corrado, Claudio, Raffaele, Fulvio e Luigi have distinguished themselves in for some time. - Gian Carlo Roncaglia
