PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

I have always loved composing for big band. The infinite possibilities fo timber, harmony and rhythm that a jazz orchestra offers have always fascinated me. For an arranger, these possibilities make up an extraordinary means of expression and an important proving ground. This project comes after a period of study, examination and reflection and is the result of my latest experiences.
Recording a CD with a big band is not an easy task. But we did it, thanks to the effort of the whole group. My father's invaluable advice and the contribution made by willing musicians of rare talent were fundamental to the realisation of this project. A heaartfelt thanks to Franco De Gemini and to the sound engineer Marco Cucci (Franco Piana)
