Phantabrass was born in occasion of Sant'Anna Arresi festival (2005), dedicated to Chicago school. As well as Lester Bowie Brass Fantasy it's a brass group and has in common with that group the setting of the musicians and love for brass music.
Phantabrass has been influenced by other cultures too: it's based upon everything has been done for brass in the past in the present days and... in the future!
My milestones are not only the Dixieland and the Big Band, Be-Bop or Free Jazz but even contemporary music and Venetian Renaissance, elements that are fundamental in my experience and contribute to my music.
Everything is filtered by my experience and my tastes. To cut a long story short, Phantabrass is what I love.
