An European jazz rarity, a classic much sought by a lot of jazz collectors, this Album represent one of Buddy Collette most interesting production, in this case coadiuvated by the Trumpet player Dusko Gojkovic.
The opening track "Orfeo negro" is a crossover between waltz jazz and latin music, a successeful cue in the best Japanese clubs. Following another excellent track amidst swing and classic jazz much representative of Italian style "A taste of fresh air" (featuring a great performance by Dusko). We also remember the Piano performance of Renato Sellani, Dino Piana at the trombone, Jimmy Pratt at the drums, the tenor Sax player Gianni Basso and the guitar played by Franco Cerri.
