A fierce gang of outlaws led by an Indian-hating half-breed (Aldo Sanbrell) has slaughtered the Navajo tribe; the sole survivor of the massacre, Navajo Joe (Burt Reynolds), swears revenge on his enemies and this time the slaughter will be of another kind. The great Italian-western tradition gives us this action yarn directed by specialist Sergio ""Django"" Corbucci in 1966. By the way this is the one and only spaghetti-western having Burt Reynolds in the leading role. The music of Ennio Morricone is exactly what any filmusic buff could expect from a western score by the Maestro: powerful, wild, overwhelming.
