A young cavalry officer finds his woman tortured by the Apaches and he blames the Army for not properly protecting the outpost. He becomes a deserter and an avenger, and starts chasing and killing Indians everywhere, shooting them to kill on sight without warning. Piero Piccioni composed an orchestral OST where he alternates a recurrent adventurous Beat sound main theme with dramatic suspense music and nostalgic love themes. The discovery of the stereo master tapes of the original session, which includes an extra 25 minutes of music, shall be the joy of the Western and Piero Piccioni fans.
