The soundtrack The beautiful and fun movie's soundtrack: LA DOTTORESSA DEL DISTRETTO MILITARE, was composed and directed by Piero Umiliani in 1976. He was born in Florence in July 17, 1926. When he had 5 years old, he taken lessons of piano by a uncle that was a Maestro of music, and this passion didn't let him never again. When, in 1944, the American soldiers come in Italy, he can be improvised piano player in a club and he falls in love for Jazz music. In 1951 he travels between Florence and Milan to make records for Durium, in 1952 he graduated in counterpoint and fugue to Cherubini,s Conservatory in Florence, also he was graduated in law in 1948 for wish of his father. After the graduate, it was a succession of experiences and journeys. in 1954, with his jazz friends, it goes to Norway and obtained some success, playing italian music and american Jazz in Oslo. After the Norwegian experience, he come back in Florence for a little period of time, but then he goes in Rome for to print some of his scores for jazz orchestras. From 1958, he was noticed by many famous film directors, among which the Brothers Taviani, Monicelli, Comencini, Lizzani, Pasolini, and they asked to him to compose the soundtracks for their movies. He did it, but his bigger love remained the Jazz, and infact, in 1964 he received the Critics Award for the best Italian jazz record, entitled ''Piccola suite americana'' (Little American Suite). In 1968 il Maestro Piero Umiliani, now known internationally, composed the soundtrack for the movie: ''Svezia inferno e paradiso'' (Sweden heaven and hell). This movie was projected all over the world and obtained a great successful. The Artistic Director of the Marks Music, saw this movie, and he loved the music immediately, especially for a song from the great musicality 'and the same time very simple and ingenious, entitled Mah-nà Mah-nà which are still sings all over the world. The Maestro Umiliani dead in Rome in february 2001, he composed a large quantity of musics and composed over 150 soundtracks for movie and fiction. Plot of the movie A doctor who carries out his service at the Military Hospital, is not able to continue for a certain period his job and decides to be substituted by his assistant, the busty Dr. Elena Dogliozzi. The many boys who parade in front of the Dr. Elena Dogliozzi in white lab coats, attempt to courting the woman, invent diseases most incredible so to be exempted from the military period, but the doctor is uncompromising and incorruptible in professional's terms and determined to unmask the guys who try to get a leave or postpone the start pretending to be sick. It's not an easy task for a young and attractive woman doctor who is not, however, insensible to the attractions of the most attractive among the guys, but also because to further complicate the situation, the loveliness of the Dr. Dogliozzi wakes up in dozens of recruits sexually repressed the lowest instincts. In this film, Edwige Fenech is as always very beautiful as the soundtrack composed by Maestro Piero Umiliani that accompanies and gives more emphasis to the main protagonist. Even the script is good, a large number of gags are really hilarious and the the characteristics are really good. Vitali and Nino Terzo are really good, but of course on all stands the figure of the great Mario Carotenuto that is an actor of a higher level.
