A long waited release for the italian market this second compilation by Dejavu Record. Now available, it features a great success in the japanese market, it is appreciated for his latin jazzy and bossa taste. Compiled by Paolo Scotti and Gerardo Frisina, two icons in the international jazz and lounge field. A trip back to origin of the latin music and of the Onda Nueva in all of the world south, highlighted by the wonderful digipack box with the figure of south america embossed on the cover. At the beginning of the selection you can appreciate "Zozoi" by Fabio Nobile, a new italian artist much appreciated for his nu-easy listening sonorities, followed by Nicola Conte Remix of Aldemaro Romero, an artist from Venezuela recently under the spotlight for some of re-press of his works. In the middle of the selection two rare tracks from Claudia, a latin artist much appreciated for her "Macumba", one of my favourite track that features penetrating voices and primordial sounds. Rio evolutions vol. 2 is a trip deep into the warm sound and percussions of bossa and latin jazz, perfect for a hot dj-set!
