Prima uscita mondiale su due CD della colonna sonora completa del fantasy di Desmond Davis con Harry Hamlin, Laurence Olivier, Burgess Meredith con effetti speciali di Ray Harryhausen. La spettacolare colonna sonora di Laurence Rosenthal offre una grande esperienza, eccitante e dinamica. L'originale LP e CD ci offrivano 39 minuti di musica (meno della metà del materiale composto per il film) e questa versione su due CD di INTRADA contiene tutti e 90 i minuti di musica, inclusi rari pezzo corali scritti per le scene sul Monte Olimpo che non vennero quasi utilizzati! Anche presente per la prima volta "Two-Headed dog", "The Quest" e la traccia "Medusa" per intero. E' anche presente l'orginale "Prologue and main title" più altre corte versioni utilzzate per il film e per i primi album. L'intera colonna sonora è proposta in STEREO, la fonte sono i master originali multitraccia per gentile concessione della Warner Bros, grazie a Lukas Kendall della Film Score Monthly e Sony Music. Note di copertina a cura di John Takis più due artwork originali in un packaging colorato. Laurence Rosenthal conduce la London Symphony Orchestra. Edizione limitata a 3000 copie!
