La La Land Records, Warner Bros Entertainment, Warner Music Group e DC Entertainment orgogliosamente continuano le celebrazioni per l'80° anniversario di Superman con questa edizione su 3 CD delle colonne sonore del film del 1980, SUPERMAN II e di SUPERMAN III, del 1983, entrambi con Christopher Reeve e diretti da Richard Lester. Il famoso compositore Ken Thorne (Vincitore degli oscar per A FUNNY THING HAPPENED ON THE WAY TO THE FORUM) mantiene alto in volo l'uomo d'acciaio con due stupende colonne sonore orchestrali che incorporano il materiale originale di John Williams con il massimo potere emotivo. Entrambe le colonne sonore utilizzano gli stessi master stellari del box del 2008 "Superman: The Music" edito dalla FSM, assembato qui su 3 CD. Il disco 2 presenta una collezione di musiche di scena e canzoni dai primi tre film di Superman composte da John Williams, Ken Thorne e Giorgio Moroder, incluse alcune tracce inedite. Prodotto da Mike Matessino e masterizzato da Doug Schwartz, questo set offre un booklet da 44 pagine con note di produzione approfondite a cura di Matessino, Jeff Eldridge e il produttore associato Lukas Kendall, aggiornate dal set della FSM per questa edizione. Grandioso artwork a cura di James Titus, questa edizione è limitata a 3000 unità.
